What's included

Concrete, paving and walls around your site.

We set the pressure, nozzle and detergent for each surface. Concrete can take full pressure. Brick and render get a gentler wash, so the face and mortar joints stay intact.

  • Car parks

Concrete pressure washing for open and undercover car parks, taking off oil drips, tyre marks and built-up grime.

  • Loading docks

Dock aprons and ramps where trucks back in and forklifts turn, cleared of rubber marks, oil and spilled product.

  • Footpaths and entries

Paving and concrete paths at your entrances, washed before staff and customers arrive.

  • Bin areas

Bin bays and enclosures where food waste and grease build up and start to smell.

  • Building walls

Power washing for brick, render and metal cladding, taking off dust, cobwebs and the grey film traffic leaves.

  • Hardstand and yards

Pressure cleaning for concrete hardstand, yards and drive-through lanes around warehouses and depots.

Where we do it

Commercial sites, washed by our own crews.

Warehouses, shops and showrooms, schools, childcare centres and food factories. The photos show our own crew and equipment.

How we do it

Surface first, pressure second.

Most pressure washing damage comes from one setting used on every surface. We test before we wash.

1. Test patch

We check the surface on a small area and set the pressure and nozzle to suit.

2. Protect and isolate

We cover doors, vents and power points, then cone off the area so staff and the public keep off wet ground.

3. Pre-treat

Oil, grease and mould get a detergent first, so they lift at a lower pressure.

4. Wash

We wash one section at a time, so part of the car park or dock stays in use while we work.

5. Rinse and check

We rinse the area and check it against the agreed scope. Photos of the finished work go to you through our app.

Checked, licensed and on paper before we start.

A wash puts high-pressure water and wet ground near your staff and visitors. This is what we have in place before the crew starts.

About pressure washing

Questions about commercial pressure washing.

Straight answers on cost, how often to wash and keeping your site open while we work.

Request a Site Visit
What surfaces can you pressure wash?

Emera pressure washes the hard outdoor surfaces of commercial sites, including concrete car parks, loading docks, footpaths, bin areas and building walls in brick, render or metal cladding.

We set the pressure for each surface. Concrete can take a strong wash, and brick, render and cladding get a gentler one, so the finish and mortar joints aren't damaged.

Can you pressure wash car parks and loading docks without closing them?

Yes. Emera washes one section at a time and cones it off, so the rest stays open for cars, trucks and people.

For a busy dock or car park, we can work at night or on a weekend, when traffic is lightest. We agree the order of sections with you before we start.

How often should high pressure cleaning be done at a commercial site?

Once or twice a year suits most commercial sites. Areas that get dirty faster, such as loading docks, bin areas and busy entrances, often need it every few months.

Emera suggests a schedule after the site visit and can add it to your regular cleaning, as a line in your written scope.

How do you price a one-off or periodic job?

Emera prices each one-off or periodic job on what needs doing, how big it is, the access and when we can work. Small jobs, like a few tags or a short list of items, can often be priced from photos.

Bigger jobs, and regular work such as turnovers or scheduled cleans, need a site visit first. Either way you get a written scope and price, and nothing is booked until you agree.

Can you add carpet, window, floor or exterior cleans to our regular cleaning?

Yes. Emera can add carpet, window, floor and exterior cleans to your regular cleaning, as one-off or regular jobs. Tell your supervisor or call us.

Each one is a separate line in your written scope and price, so you see what it costs. It's logged in our app with before and after photos, the same as your regular clean.
