What we paint
Office, warehouse and shopfront painting.
Most peeling paint comes from skipped preparation. Each surface is cleaned, filled and sanded before it's painted.
Offices and fit-outs
Walls, ceilings, doors and trims repainted between tenancies, after a fit-out, or room by room while staff keep working.
Warehouses and factories
Walls, columns, door surrounds and amenities painted around your production or dispatch hours.
Shopfronts
Facades, window frames and signage panels repainted before opening, so the store keeps trading.
Exteriors
Render, cladding, fascias and fences repainted, with the surface washed and repaired first.
Touch-ups after repairs
Scuffs, knocks and patched plasterboard painted to match, so a repair doesn't leave a mark.
Line marking
Parking bays, walkways and forklift zones marked on car parks and warehouse floors.
How a job runs
Covered up, painted and cleaned up after.
You see the areas, the colours and the price in writing before we start.

Already an Emera client?
Book the repaint with your cleaning contact, and we clean up after.
If we clean your site, the repaint goes through the same contact. We know your cleaning roster, so the painting is planned around it and the clean-up happens on the next visit.
- Paint dust and drips cleaned. The cleaning crew does the clean-up after the painters leave.
- Booked around your cleans. Painters and cleaners aren't in the same room on the same night.
- One contact. The repaint is booked and signed off with the person who runs your cleaning.

About commercial painting
Questions about painting a site that stays open.
What facility and property managers ask before booking a repaint.
Ask us a questionHow do you protect floors, stock and equipment while you paint?
Emera covers floors with drop sheets, moves or wraps stock and equipment, and masks fittings and edges before painting starts.
If your warehouse or factory stays open, we paint one area at a time and agree with you what can be moved. When we finish, everything goes back where it was and the area is cleaned.
Do you use low-odour paint in occupied buildings?
Yes. In offices, schools and other occupied buildings, Emera uses low-odour water-based paints and keeps the rooms aired while they dry.
We can also paint at night or over a weekend, so the rooms have aired before people come back. Each paint has a safety data sheet on file, and you can have copies.
Can you work before we open or after we close?
Yes. Emera books cleaning and trade work around your opening hours, early in the morning, in the evening or on a weekend, so we stay out of the way of your customers and staff.
If a job needs the power or water off, or makes noise or fumes, we agree the time with you before we book it.
Are your tradespeople licensed and insured?
Yes. Each tradesperson Emera sends holds the licence or registration their trade needs in Victoria, and carries public liability insurance and WorkCover.
Our app holds every licence and certificate of currency, and warns us 30 days before one expires. Ask, and we'll send you copies before the job starts. See the checks behind everyone we send.
When is painting over graffiti better than removing it?
Painting over graffiti is better when the tagged surface is already painted. A matched colour is often quicker and costs less than removal, and it leaves no faint outline behind.
On bare brick, stone, glass and metal, Emera removes the graffiti instead, because new paint would change the look of the surface and need upkeep. At the site visit, we tell you which we'd do, and why.
How do you price trade and maintenance jobs?
Emera prices each trade or maintenance job on what it involves, including labour, materials, access and the time of day the work is done. Small jobs can be priced from your photos, and bigger ones start with a site visit.
You get the scope and price in writing before any work starts. If we find more once we're on site, we stop and agree the extra with you before going on.
